Frank "Red" Miller or "Papa Frank", as he was affectionately known by his family, was born on March 31, 1906 in Georgetown, Tx. He was a mechanic for many years on "the square". He had 10 children and was known to have had as many as 20 siblings. An excellent fisher and hunter , Papa Frank was a deacon at Gay Hill Baptist Church and a member of the Thomas H. Keefley Masonic Lodge #45. Often mistaken for a white man because of his fair skin and native-American heritage, Papa Frank was a respected and well known member of the Georgetown community.
